Abstract

La abuela Leobina Ahue narra en Magütá la creación del mundo por Yoi e Ipi, relatando cómo hicieron crecer a los seres humanos, que todavía eran afrecho de huito, y les enseñaron a trabajar y cumplir sus tareas cotidianas. Las herramientas las obtuvieron de un árbol llamado Puyáru, cuyos frutos eran hachas, machetes y otros utensilios. Ipi era el encargado de recogerlas y así aprendieron a ser responsables. La abuela aprendió la historia cuando tenía once años, enseñada por su abuelo.
