Abstract

El antropólogo Hugo Armando Camacho introduce brevemente el relato en Español. Moe took her to live with him, but Moe’s mother put her to a test: she had to prepare chicha with the corn from the house. Since the young woman was enchanted, with just one ear of corn she managed to fill three jars of drinks. When she returned, her mother-in-law treated her badly when she saw all the corn piled up. For that reason, the young woman left. Moe explained to his mother that she had already prepared the chicha. Regretful, the mother-in-law asked the young woman to return, but she replied that she would only come back if they felled the Onane tree (fish-tree). Then Moe cut down the tree, and it turned into a canoe. At that moment his brother-in-law was spying on him. For being nosy, the man transformed into a boa forever, becoming the guardian of the fish.
