| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | The anthropologist Hugo Armando Camacho briefly introduces in Spanish the story that the elder Horacio Peña will present. Horacio narrates in Magütá the story of a fisherman who only caught charapa turtles. One day he caught a female charapa and married her. He took her to his house, and the family received her without knowing her origin. When the couple returned to the lake to fish, the woman asked him not to catch certain charapas because they were her brothers and sisters. The fisherman, tired of the warnings, did not obey her. She became angry, jumped into the water, and disappeared, leaving the man alone again. | eng |
