Recuperación de cantos de baile de la etnia puinave del departamento de Guainía

Abstract

Este libro presenta un producto del proceso de recuperación cultural de los cantos tradicionales de al etnia Wãnsöjöt (puinave) que han sido conservados por el señor Celestino Miraval y su esposa Herminia Acosta, que ha generado el interés entre los miembros de la etnia Wãnsöjöt por conocer y mantener esta tradición. En este trabajo se propone una hipótesis sobre el contexto en el cual se originaron las canciones que se entonan aún en las reuniones de chicha en la comunidad de Piedra Alta (Medio río Inírida, departamento de Guainía), y muestra las implicaciones de esta tradición como rasgo de identidad étnica. This book presents the result of the cultural recovery process of traditional songs of the Wãnsöjöt (Puinave) ethnic group, which have been preserved by Mr. Celestino Miraval and his wife Herminia Acosta, generating interest among members of the Wãnsöjöt ethnic group in learning about and maintaining this tradition. This work proposes a hypothesis about the context in which the songs originated, which are still sung at chicha gatherings in the community of Piedra Alta (Middle Inírida River, department of Guainía), and shows the implications of this tradition as a feature of ethnic identity.
