Abstract

A man goes out to hunt tapir. Upon his return, he invites her wife to fix the game but it is her he dismembers and puts to smoke. He takes the meat to her family's maloca. Her husband says that she is coming down the road, but soon her brothers realize that the food that her brother-in-law brought is from their sister's body. They pursue the brother-in-law to avenge the murder, but he flees to the top of a hill rock where the arrows cannot reach him. Un hombre sale a cazar tapir. A su regreso, invita a su mujer a arreglar la presa pero es a ella a quien descuartiza y pone a ahumar. Lleva la carne a maloca de la familia de ella. Dice el marido que ella viene por el camino, pero al poco tiempo los hermanos de ella se percatan que la comida que el cuñado trajo es del cuerpo de su hermana. Persiguen al cuñado para vengar el asesinato, pero el huye a la cima de un cerro donde no lo alcanzan las flechas.
