Abstract

Federico José Huaines presenta en Español a la abuela Ersilda Guerrero Aro. La abuela Ersilda Guerrero Aro, en Magütá, anuncia primero los elementos utilizados en el canto a la muchacha de la Pelazón: el tambor, el cascabel y el huito, explicando que eso es lo que desea el dios Yoi porque son elementos encantados. Luego, realiza el canto, que describe el proceso de aplicar el huito a las muchachas y explica que ellas son bonitas y “doritas blanquitas” porque estuvieron encerradas por un tiempo, y que, con la pintura del huito, su cara y su quijada quedan muy bonitas.
