Abstract

Petapeta golpeaba bamba en el monte y un señor lo escuchó y dijo: “¿Por qué no aparece para ayudarme, si yo sufro trabajando solo?”. Petapeta era quien cargaba las herramientas de trabajo, como el hacha y el machete. Un día, el señor se las robó, porque eran mágicas y trabajaban solas. Pero durante una minga, en medio de la borrachera, el señor mostró las herramientas y, como Petapeta estaba entre la gente, las recuperó y se las llevó de nuevo. Petapeta struck bamba in the forest, and a man heard him and said: “Why does he not appear to help me, if I suffer working alone?” Petapeta was the one who carried the work tools, such as the axe and the machete. One day, the man stole them, because they were magical and worked by themselves. But during a minga, in the midst of drunkenness, the man showed the tools, and since Petapeta was among the people, he recovered them and took them away again.
